Discovered this hidden gem when asking a neighbor about their beautiful flooring. Contacting this company was an excellent decision! Jason and Paul could not have been more accommodating; making suggestions without any pressure. They have the ability to put the customer at ease and more importantly; they have the ability to LISTEN to the customer's ideas.
The first home visit to take accurate measurements was made at my convenience and tile samples were brought to the house based on my considered preferences. Never felt rushed or pushed. Prices were very reasonable; especially having already compared prices from another well-known tile company.
When told that there would be only one installer, I was a bit apprehensive as it was a rather large area of several rooms. However, Paul assured me that Hugo worked for the company for many years and was a pro. He was absolutely right-on-target!
Hugo was amazingly talented; professional, neat, polite, friendly and hard-working. Honestly, at the end of each day it appeared as if a crew of people had worked. In addition, at the end of each day, he cleaned the work area and made sure the area was safe to walk around. I was equally impressed at the amount of work completed each day.

Incredible service and work done by Paul’s company here. Theyve been in the business for decades and as soon as I visited the shop I knew I was in the right place. Easy to work with and prices are very reasonable. They were able to get us custom fitted carpet runners for the marble staircase picked out, cut and installed within a couple weeks. HIGHLY recommend. We are absolutely delighted with our new bedroom floor, which went from a vague idea to fully installed in less than two weeks. Paul and co. know exactly what they are doing. Costing was very fair and no-nonsense, and actually came in significantly under the original estimate. We were also treated with great kindness and responsiveness the whole time by Paul and two experts on different aspects of the job (and we appreciate that he sent two different people to do what they're best at rather than try to OSFA it). We bought a house with several rooms/areas that we want to refloor and we will be coming back to Distinctive Carpet for every one of those jobs no question. We are so happy. It's a joy to be able to sincerely support a local business with so much experience and expertise and great service.

Their team arrived on time and did the entire 4 rooms, closets and stairs in one day. Highly recommend using this local family owned company. The store had a good selection of flooring products. The owners provided in-depth information on the different types of flooring. They allowed us to take home samples to see how they looked in the room. We decided on a laminate plank flooring. The installer was prompt and extremely professional and skilled.
